The terms that govern your use of Fomi — a biohacker quarantine console for photo dispersal, topology audit, and dossier archival.
By installing, opening, or using Fomi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by this User Agreement together with the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you are using Fomi on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Fomi. If you are between 13 and the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these terms on your behalf.
Fomi fragments a photo you supply into six "payload" slices, stores them locally on your device, and offers a multi-stage audit ritual through which you reassemble the photo via a screenshot match. All processing happens on-device.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of Fomi on devices you own or control, solely for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms and the App Store EULA.
You will not, and will not permit any third party to:
You retain all ownership and intellectual-property rights in the photos you import into Fomi ("Your Content"). You grant Fomi a limited, royalty-free, device-only license to process Your Content strictly to provide the App's features — slicing, fingerprinting, auditing, and local persistence — and for no other purpose.
You confirm that you have all necessary rights and consents to import each photo and screenshot you provide to the App. You are solely responsible for backing up Your Content; Fomi makes no cloud backups.
Fomi offers consumable coin packs as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store. Coins are virtual tokens redeemable inside the App for specific premium actions (for example, "Run Deep Audit" — 12 coins; "Generate Forensics" — 15 coins). The exact coin cost of every spend is displayed in the UI before you tap and is confirmed by an in-app dialog before any deduction.

Initial balance is always zero. Fomi does not gift coins on install. Refunds are governed by Apple's standard refund policy; contact Apple directly to request a refund of a charge on your Apple ID. We are not able to process App Store refunds on your behalf.
The App Store does not currently expose a Restore-Purchases action inside Fomi. Apple's payment system will, however, redeliver any consumable transaction that did not complete the first time; Fomi credits coins exactly once per transaction using a stable identifier so duplicate deliveries cannot double-credit.
Fomi requests Photo Library access to import the source photo and the audit screenshot. The App also requests App Tracking Transparency permission at launch to remain consistent with Apple's transparency requirements; declining tracking does not affect your ability to use any feature of Fomi.
The App performs a single lightweight network request at launch so iOS surfaces the wireless-network permission prompt; the App's core features (dispersal, audit, logs) run entirely offline after that point.
Each dispersed payload has a 24-hour decay deadline. If a successful audit is not completed before the deadline, the payload is marked timed-out and its slice order is shuffled. You may extend the deadline by 24 hours by spending coins ("Extend 24h" — 10 coins). Decay reshuffles are part of the App's design and are not defects.
You agree not to use Fomi to import or process:
Violations may result in suspension or termination of your license, removal of audit logs from your device, and reporting to appropriate authorities where required by law.
Fomi is released and updated through the Apple App Store. We may, from time to time, release updates that change, add, or remove features. We may discontinue specific features (including coin pack catalog entries) at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable consumer law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fomi is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
The audit is a simulated visual exercise that uses on-device edge-hash matching for entertainment and personal organization. It is not a forensic-grade analysis and must not be relied on for any legal, evidentiary, or security-critical purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fomi and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our aggregate liability for all claims arising under or relating to this Agreement will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us for in-app purchases in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50.
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling Fomi. We may suspend or terminate your license immediately if you breach these terms or use Fomi in a way that creates legal risk for us or other users. On termination, all rights granted to you under this Agreement cease immediately and any unused coin balance is forfeited.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you ordinarily reside, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Where applicable consumer-protection law affords you more favorable protections, those protections apply notwithstanding this clause.
